Tell us an inspirational moment from your childhood.
I remember my family buying DVD’s 3 stood out to me as a kid Eddie Murphy (Raw). Whoopi Goldberg (Jumping Jack Flash) and Martin Lawrence (You so Crazy) and seeing everyone laugh so hard I knew I had to deliver that same reaction to people in my life. All the Laughter and Joy they had I knew that’s what I wanted to deliver to the world. I watched each movie at least 200 times a piece!
What lead you to this career path?
We all try things to see what sticks to us and what makes us happy. I decided that I wanted to be a makeup artist. So that’s what I did, I got a makeup kit and business cards. I even had a class that I taught. I’d always have everyone laughing during my class however, I always knew something was missing. So I decided to let the world see what I had to give on a larger scale. Now here I am!
What do are some of the challenges you face?
I think the challenge I face the most is being misjudged. I’m a comedian so we take light out of the darkest of any situation. It’s not to offend but to turn something negative to a positive, most people find it hard to accept but to have a skill like that isn’t easy to acquire. The challenge is to satisfy everyone and you can’t.
Who and what are your biggest influences/inspiration.?
There’s so many great people that have set the bar high in the comedy world. There’s one guy that I could relate to ( ANDREW DICE CLAY) I would like to think of my Style being similar to his! Lol He’s a Green Comic ( It means you curse a lot lol ) Martin Lawrence, Eddie Murphy, and Kat Williams are also to name a few!
What do you consider to be your biggest accomplishment?
I think my biggest accomplishment is to finally rid myself of Fear. Being in the entertainment business isn’t easy and fear is always looming around. Fear is the killer of dreams once I learned the way to get over that my life has changed for the better!
What is your most recent project?
My most recent project was being on season 14 of Ridiculousness. I’ll be on the new season as well this coming fall
Who do you hope to work with in the future?
I’d love to work on a project with Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, Jordan Peele, and Spielberg. It would be amazing to be apart anything they put together.
What is next on the horizon for you?
I’m working on building my brand up and taking it to levels unknown. They’re so many levels to my persona and I plan to letting you guys in to see more. I plan on peeling back layers to my creative thoughts and sharing it with the world. The Stace you see now isn’t who you’ll see later, I’ll be constantly evolving into something more funny and more entertaining each step of the way STAY TUNED!
